David Hoory - Managing Partner CLF®, LUTCF® 















David began his career as an agent in the Long Island office in November of 2004. During his time there, he qualified for 3 consecutive Executive Councils*. David was promoted to the Partner position early in 2009. After 20 months as a partner, David qualified for a Senior Partner promotion while finishing #11 in the country and qualifying for Gathering of the Eagles.

In April 2013, David was promoted to Managing Partner of the Detroit General Office. In mid-2015, David came back home as the Managing partner of the Brooklyn General Office. During his tenure, the Brooklyn office has won multiple SVP New Org Retention trophies and the prestigious President’s trophy.

David currently resides in Brooklyn, NY with his wife Lisa and their 5 children: Nina, Ovadia, Jaclyn, Joseph, and Lorraine.

Yitzchok Schwartz- Executive Partner   















Mr. Schwartz resides in Monroe, New York with his family and he oversees and leads the Monsey Sales office in Monsey, NY.

He started his career as an agent at the Guardian Life Insurance Company, where he was employeed and then promoted to a Sales Development Manager from 2001- 2005.

In November of 2005 Yitzchok Joined the New York Life Insurance Company in the Riverview General office (which later became the current Brooklyn General office). 

Yitzchok was promoted to Partner in June 2006 and won many awards for his work and some national recognition in the areas of recruiting and development. Next, he was promoted to Senior Partner in September 2008 and then promoted to Co – Managing partner of the Brooklyn General office in 2015.  Yitzchok was then promoted to Executive Partner in the Brooklyn General office in March 2019.

With many trophies to his name, Yitzchok leads one of the strongest units of agents at  New York Life with a very high retention rate.  Yitzchok does a lot of volunteer work in his community.

Yehoushua Belsky- Partner 















Yehoshua Belsky lives in Spring Valley, NY with his wife and children, where he is an active part of the community. He joined the NYLife Brooklyn office in 2013, and was appointed Partner in 2018. Yehoshua has a passion for helping people, and uses his diverse knowledge and skills to help others find the right balance between living in the moment and preparing for the future.


David Glick - Partner 















David joined New York Life in April of 2010 after a successful career in the Real Estate Title Industry. David started out as an amateur Title searcher and with dedication and commitment advanced to become the Department Manager. In this capacity David developed and nurtured personal relationships with local municipal offices, eliminating time consuming procedures.  With his strong organizational skills, he satisfied clients’ requirements and ensured deadlines were met.

Realizing that his position was limiting to his aspirations, David decided to transition to a career in financial services. After joining New York Life, David achieved numerous awards including 5 Executive Council* memberships. In 2015 he became a Financial Registered Representative while obtaining his FINRA Series 7 securities registration. His strong leadership qualities were already apparent as an agent and he was promoted to Associate Partner, and then to Partner in 2018.

As a Partner, David’s focus is to build a strong team with members committed to personal and financial growth. He provides training and continuous coaching to the Agents on his team, helping them reach their short and long-term goals.

David is married and resides with his wife and children in Rockland County, NY. He enjoys spending time with his family and serves as Trustee to his congregation. In his spare time, he volunteers to head different community projects.

Schemia Mia Rowan-  Partner















Mia is an Associate Partner at the Brooklyn General Office.  She started as an advisor in 2015, and has been the top producing woman advisor in her class since. After 12 years working as a Business Analyst in corporate benefits, Mia wanted the opportunity to work somewhere that made it easy for other people to do what was right, and more importantly, made it easy for her to do right by them.  She currently maintains a book of business consisting of more than $40 million in assets and life insurance. She also shares in management of agents and advisors in the Brooklyn office. 


She is an active member in the community, serving as a member of the National Association of Professional Women, Women Advancing in Micro Finance, Urban League and NAACP.  Her vested interest in seeing the community thrive and succeed is shown in her involvement with these organizations for more than 10 years. 


She holds a Business Management Bachelors from University of Central Florida and has participated in New York Life's well-known training program, NYLIC University, and has been awarded for her success in helping her clients.  Awards include Brooklyn General Office Honors 2016 and 2017, Top Producing Agent November 2018, and Strive for Excellence Award 2018.

Leibish Schwartz-  Partner















After 4 years being in the work force, Leibish established his career with New York Life as a life Insurance agent. He combined his knowledge in the industry with his passion to help out young families and teach them the right way for their long term financial security.  Leibish has made the executive council level for two years in a row and was promoted as a partner.


Leibish has a passion for helping out people and helping them to succeed!  There's a famous saying that says  "you can feed a person a fish and you feed him once, if you teach him how to fish, you feed him a lifetime" and that's what he keeps always in mind

Ali Agha- Training Development Manager  


After 4 years in the Management Consulting world, Ali established his Financial Services practice with New York Life in June 2009.  As a Financial Services Professional, Ali combined his financial and strategic planning knowledge with his passion for teaching to help his clients with their long-term financial planning. He has won numerous awards for sales growth and achieved Executive Council* 2 years in a row before being promoted to management.

Currently, he serves as a Senior Development Manager in New York Life’s Brooklyn General Office.  Over the years, Ali has coached many advisors to great success with a holistic approach that develops them as both people and as professionals.  As a proud trainer and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Ali’s mission is to help develop the next generation of knowledgeable and ethical financial professionals.

Ali is a native of New York City and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management from Baruch College.  He enjoys teaching, writing and philanthropy.  He has also been involved in a number of volunteer roles, most notably with Boys Hope Girls Hope, a charity dedicated to nurturing academically bright children from low income families.  With them, Ali completed a year-long volunteer program teaching Finance classes for high school students.

Ali is a graduate of the Leadership in Life Institute and has been published twice in Advisor Today Magazine.  He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), and is currently serving as one of the team leaders of its National Diversity Task Force, which is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the Financial Services industry.

Michael Florio Jr., MBA - Corporate Vice President, General Office Service   















Michael Florio Jr started his professional career in 2002 with a company that raised funds for Non-profit organizations. He decided to join New York Life Insurance in June of 2004, as an Administrative Manager Trainee in the Constitution General Office. During his two years in the AMT program, he assisted with the rollout of NB21 in several different locations (Albany, Cincinnati, El Paso, Arkansas, Vermont, New Hampshire and Michigan General Offices).

Michael became the Office Manager of the Hudson Valley General Office in 2006 and received the “Profitability Manager of Year Award” in 2007 (Runner-up). He then transferred to the Westchester General Office in March of 2009, where he received the “Recruiting Partnership Award” and the “Life Case Rate Partnership Award” for level 2 size offices. He was promoted to Corporate Vice President in 2014 and accepted the role of Service Leader in the Brooklyn General Office, in the summer if 2014.

Michael graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Business Management in 2000. During his undergraduate studies, he participated in Bloomsburg’s study abroad program, where he received an International Diploma of Management. He also received his MBA from Walden University, with a concentration in Global Management in 2008.

Michael was recently inducted into his high school’s Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in the sport of Wrestling. He currently resides in New Jersey with his wife Dana, daughter Billie Rose, son Michael (Trey) and their two 70 lbs dogs (Trinity and Violet). In their spare time, they enjoy relaxing with their family on the beaches of the Jersey Shore and snowboarding/skiing in upstate NY and Vermont. Mike is a Mets and Jets fan and enjoys watching their games for the 1st half of the season.
